To post for you, we need your permission. Here's exactly what happens:
Two things have to be true before anything can be posted for you: both of your Meta accounts have to be set up for business rather than personal use. On Instagram that is a Professional account. On Facebook it is Professional mode on your profile, and then the Page you are an admin of. Both are free and take a couple of minutes each.
Instagram only allows automation and posting on Professional accounts (Business or Creator). This is required before we connect your account here or run Social Autopilot. It's free, takes about 2 minutes, and you can switch back any time.

Facebook works the same way as Instagram - the account has to be set up for business. It is two steps, in this order: switch your own profile to Professional mode, then connect the Page you are an admin of. Facebook will not let you connect a Page to a tool like ours until your profile is in Professional mode, and Meta only gives posting tools access to Pages - so the Page is what we post to. It is also the Page your Instagram Professional account links through, so doing this sorts both.
Professional mode is a free switch on your own Facebook profile, and it is step one here - until it is on, Facebook will not let you connect your Page to us. It also gives you followers, insights and creator tools, and it is what our DM and comment helpers need. Your profile still looks the same to your friends. Then add the Page, which takes about two minutes.
